Finnish Contraflow Masonry Heater
Finnish contra flow has two dawn draft channels and can be up to 3 metres high. Heater can be fitted with an oven or other features like a heated bench. High quality cast iron doors are used. Weight over 3 ton is not unusual, depending on the type of brick used. Heaters can be finished with lime or clay plaster, brick or natural stone or even tiled and painted.
