Grundofen

Similar to kachelofen, grundofen are European masonry stoves that are generally used for heating, cooking and also sleeping, but instead of stove tiles, other types of refractory materials with excellent thermal properties are used for stove facing - firebrick slabs, high density blocks, similar to magnesite bricks, specialized ceramics or cob.
